Our story

Hello! Our names are Emily Fretwell & Kirksley Elliston. We are two boy moms with a passion to make sure every person has the Wedding or Event of their dreams. Emily is a Certified Wedding Planner from East Alabama. She originally started A Simple Favor in Palm Beach, FL in 2023, making this dream become a reality has been her passion project. Kirksley is from West Georgia and will be getting her Event Planning and Management Certification from the University of Georgia this coming fall. She currently runs a small in-home bakery and event planning has always been a dream of hers. They first met thanks to their husbands long-time friendship and then their friendship bloomed from there and in turn a late night thread of text messages birthed this reality and we have never been so thankful and blessed.
